General Information

You will be fitted for a choir uniform each year and this uniform will be checked out to you through Charms. It is your responsibility to care for the uniform while it is checked out to you and you will be held responsible for the cost of any missing pieces of the uniform at the end of the school year. We will make every effort to put you into the best fit uniform. If at any time during the school year you find the uniform checked out to you no longer fits, needs a repair or has become damaged please let us know through the uniforms email link in the contact form at the bottom of this page.

Please make every effort to keep your uniform concert ready. Here are some tips to help you look your best for performances and competitions:
If you have a garment bag and you know that your choir will be getting fitted, please bring the garment bag with you. We will have at least 2 days for fittings prior to the start of school. You have the best chance of getting a choir uniform that fits you by getting it EARLY!  All students who do not get fitted on these days will be fitted during class time.

Once you have a uniform checked out to you, it becomes YOURS until it is checked back in. Make sure you remember to return to the choir room to pick up uniforms ASAP after a fitting to ensure they do not get misplaced or picked up accidentally by someone else. Also, write down the numbers found on the tags on the inside of each piece and keep those numbers where you can find them. Last year we found that several uniforms got mixed up during changing after UIL – we check in uniform pieces by the number or barcode, not by name.

  • Hang up the uniform when you get it home!
  • Do not iron the women’s skirt or top! These fabrics do not hold up to an iron. If you hang it up after each wearing, it will remain in good condition for the next event.
  • If you have a repair needed and you feel that you or your parents are not able to make the repair, then email us with your name, which choir you are in and what the problem is. Sometimes a clasp or a button may come loose or come off. Hems in pants and skirts often come out as well.
  • Please make every effort to not eat, drink or put on make-up while wearing your uniform. We will be using these uniform for many more years!

We will have some skirts and pants that will need alterations. We will let you know when your uniform piece has returned to the school and is ready for pick up. Please take these home ASAP. At the end of the school year, the directors will let you know when to turn in your uniform. Usually this is the day of the UIL competition. This is the best time to turn in your uniform! You will not be exempt from exams until all pieces of your uniform have been checked in.

Men Only

The school provides all parts of the uniform except for shoes and the tux shirt. You will be given the chance to be fitted and to purchase a shirt one day in class if you do not have one.
