Associate Director

Kristin Killingsworth

Kristin Killingsworth is the associate choir director at Tompkins High School and is in her 6th year of teaching. Before coming to Katy, she taught elementary music for four years at Schiff Elementary in Fort Bend ISD. Kristin began the tradition of an annual Veterans Day Program, filling the school with 400+ parents and veterans at their very first program. The passion she expressed for her students love of music grew her 5th grade volunteer before school choir from 20 students her first year to over 100 4th and 5th grade students signed up for choir by her last year.

Kristin graduated magna cum laude from Stephen F. Austin State University earning a bachelor’s degree in music education. While attending SFA, she was able to travel with the SFA A Cappella Choir performing in cathedrals all of Italy and Germany. Kristin also sings as a Staff Singer at St. Martins Episcopal Church. Their choir just returned from their biannual choir tour where they traveled to Paris, France. Her favorite part of the tour was getting to take a day trip to Disneyland Paris with her husband. Kristin has an infinite love for all things Disney and hopes to visit every Disney Park.
